I've had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Blackwell Grange and know how well the venue works throughout a complete wedding day — from preparations and the ceremony through to portraits, speeches and the evening celebrations.

With 35 years of wedding photography experience, three North East Wedding Photographer of the Year awards and a Licentiate qualification from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, I bring experience, preparation and a relaxed approach to every wedding I photograph.

Surbhi & Dale

Surbhi and Dale's celebrations were particularly special, bringing together British and Hindu wedding traditions across several wonderful days.

Following their Mehndi and Haldi celebrations, their wedding day at Blackwell Grange included a beautiful British ceremony followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony, creating an incredible celebration filled with colour, emotion, family and tradition.

From bridal preparations and the ceremony to portraits around the hotel, speeches, Bhangra dancing and the evening celebrations, it was a fantastic wedding to photograph.
