With around 35 years of wedding photography experience, John brings a wealth of knowledge to every wedding.
He has been named North East Wedding Photographer of the Year three times and is a Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP).
His photography combines natural documentary storytelling with carefully created, beautifully finished portraits.
John's relaxed approach means that much of the day is photographed as it naturally unfolds — capturing the expressions, laughter and little moments you may not even realise are happening.
When the opportunity arises, he'll also create those striking portraits that deserve a place on your wall.

Mark Walton Wedding Films
Mark brings extensive professional filmmaking experience to AW Collective, including a background filming for BBC and ITV, alongside his work as a freelance filmmaker.
That experience translates beautifully into wedding filmmaking. Rather than simply recording what happens, Mark looks for the moments, movement, emotion and atmosphere that bring your wedding story to life.
