For me, wedding photography should never be about simply finding the cheapest option. Your wedding photographs are one of the very few things from your day that will remain with you for a lifetime, which is why I believe experience, consistency and quality matter.
With 35 years of wedding photography experience and having been named North East Wedding Photographer of the Year three times, I bring a wealth of experience to every wedding I photograph. I am also one of only six Licentiates of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers in County Durham, reflecting the professional standard I have worked hard to maintain throughout my career.
My style combines natural, emotional storytelling with beautifully crafted portraits. I capture the laughter, tears, personalities, little details and spontaneous moments that make your wedding completely unique, while also creating the polished photographs that deserve a place on your walls and in your wedding album.
Just as importantly, I believe couples should feel comfortable in front of the camera. My approach is friendly, relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy your wedding while I concentrate on documenting it.
Every photograph is carefully selected, colour corrected and professionally finished. I don't believe in rushing weddings through an editing process or compromising standards simply to compete on price. Quality comes first.
